I almost forgot about the cross stitch that Da Ren had to do for the gatecrash part.
I wanted him to do a proper X-stitch "Darren 'heart shape' Joyce" and the "heart shape" has to be filled in with the X-stitches.
On that day, realised that none of my bridesmaids actually did any cross stitch before. They started to have empathy for the groom. Then intervened on his behalf for easy way out.
So my X-stitch became "so long he stitches something"
The end product was no where near to what I wanted but whenever I saw this masterpiece, I would start to giggle over the fond memories. It was really a hilarious morning.
