Another great opportunity to score brownie points with your future in-laws. What could be a better gift than giving a box of branded mooncake? Instead of sending a box of exotic flavours in snowskin, I picked this box of 6 mini baked mooncakes from Shangri-La. It is proven that brand does sell. The old folks were impressed with this box of branded mooncakes. Brownie points scored! But not into my net... but his... haha

Nursing a sore throat and a subsided fever... and a flu is developing.. moi struggled to tie the silvery thread onto the cards. The effort is enormous. "The spirit is willing but the flesh is not. Got these 2 T-shirts from our BKK trip. Meant for the pre-wedding photoshoot. But it got axed by the gown designer. We both thought the wordings are quite funny. But guess who is wearing which one? Haha...

I seldom post anything related to wedding. Not that I have something so classified it can't see the daylight. Haha... in any case, the Big Celebration is drawing nearer.. and things are starting to fall into their respective places. This means... 1. Guest book - sent out for printing. Don't know when it will come back. Hmm.. my 1st time putting together a photobook and using it as our guest book. Heard is reliable so used their services. Cost me USD 25.99 for a 12" x 12" 21 pages photobook. Wedding cards and inserts - folded all the wedding cards and inserts in printing progress. Got these cards during our BKK trip. Recently, called up a few old friends and realised that everyone's on a different path pursuing different goals in life. Some had their no. 3, while some dodged me like a thunder bolt. But there's one which set off a pang of envy in my heart. She's off to UK this weekend to start her new beginning. Maybe I should learn to be contented with what I have and still be thankful that even I don't have what I desire, whatever I have now is already very good.

Yesterday, went to this fast food joint which I don't patronise at all. Then why I went there. Because, it was the least crowded. Went up to the counter and order their newest menu which was grilled chicken. Took one bite and only one word came up to my mind " Revolting " Always trust the woman's instinct.

Thanks to the inspiration by Yagiza. I went back to the gym today. I can't tell you how much my arms are aching now. But I intend to keep it up, in lest someone comments my body shape is not proportionate. Again!

A topic that has been lingering in my mind for the past weeks was Honeymoon... True to my dreamy brain, I have come up with many great destinations that would serve as wonderful honeymoon hotspots. 1. Maldives - beautiful beach, need I say more? 2. Japan's Hokkaido - but I'm more inclined to go during their summer so I can dive into the sea of tulips and sunflowers. 3. Israel - what better place than to start our lifelong journey together with Christ. But then, you see, preparing for wedding and getting the house all at the same time is strenuous to our piggy banks. I have to keep balancing the scale so that none will tip over to the other side. She raved about all the goodness to him and he in turn wanted to buy a pair for me. However, upon seeing the design, my head shook faster than a bullet train. Second impression improved after Ms Yoshi bought a pair and worn to work. I was not in any particular fond of FitFlop yet. 1 month ago, with the declining exercise rate, I decided I really need an external help. So I went to Isetan and tried on a pair. Expensive for a pair of flipflops and the size wasn't really suitable. But Today - someone raved it to me again about the wholesome and goodness of FitFlop. Oh yeah! The mind is set. The heart is set. The FitFlop will be mine! Who cares if there's no Isetan sales.... hmm... actually I do care... but how can I still care when my bottom is expanding?! Can always trust on the good old Darren to fix any computer or internet problem. My old pc on the verge of dying which I had the very intention to change, was revived by him. That's was 2 years ago and until today, the power of this PC just kept on adding up. Hard for me to find an excuse to change to Mac. The bugging problem of me having difficulty of logging into this blog was also resolved by him. *amazed*

I had such a lousy yesterday... Got to squeeze with the impossible crowds in the trains and bus. It won't happened if I could leave my office earlier. The incessant phone calls drove me to the brink of craziness coupled with the fact, I was running late for my piano teaching. Back home, I couldn't access this blog AGAIN.... I don't know what's wrong or is it just a coincidence that after the typhoon in Taiwan, I have problems accessing blogspot at home. But I have no problem logging into my account in office or at boyfriend's place. Does it got to do with Singnet? The renovation quotation I got is depressingly so off our budget. Although we got our new place without COV and below valuation, the 5% cash component imposed by the bank was really hefty. Perhaps it is time to review my expectations, re-aligned my needs and wants to better fit into our budget.

During dinner yesterday with a wise woman, she gave some insights on relationship with people, family and elderly. After hearing her out, I told her I would give it some thought. 1. On Independence - There's nothing wrong being independent. However, this could be overbearing because I would fail to consider others' needs and wants. So it will actually help to build rapport with the occasional treats. My 1st line of defense was insisting that this is so hypocritical, so unnatural. Because this has to be done consciously. But on 2nd thought, things that do not require any effort from my part will yield no result. 2. On changing Mentality - A chore will always be a chore unless you change your mentality.
