FORCED 2

I know there are many friends and relatives that are concerned with our renovation woes. We had thought of all possible solutions and had offered to the rogue company.

Flipping of words #1

In the beginning, project manager agreed that the living room is sloping down. He called the tiler down. After hearing out from his tiler, he switched his words and now declared is slope free. When he first saw the living room, he also agreed that he could not accept this kind of work. Just because his tiler said he went by the book and he flipped his words.

Flipping of words #2

Agreed that the rogue company will hack up and provide materials, we have to find our own tiler and pay for the workmanship. Though no mistake of ours, we have to pay extra money to rectify their mistake, in what way is the rogue company fair to us.

Project manager flipped his work again. Said his company cannot do anything for us. Everything we have to bear ourselves right down to the materials. This is getting ridiculous. Their mistake, we have to spend another few thousand dollars to rectify it.

We offered a compromise, we put in down black and white, omitting them from the living room warranty on the condition we use our own tiler, they provide everything else. The rogue company refused to budge.

It was clearly the rogue company tactic was to drag our time, waste our time, went one big round when they already had the intention they will not re-do our living room.

Our conclusion

We feel that we have wasted enough money for this kind of lousy renovation. We are not going to pay a single cent more. We will live with the evidence on what kind of work this rogue company give. Who is going to suffer more in the long run? The one whose reputation is bad or the one whose conscience is clear.

We can always sell the place away or rent it out. But can they sell their bad reputation away? Justice will prevails.
