Taiwan Day 4 - Sun Moon Lake to Cingjng

Image
We started on a warm day. Breakfast at minsu was delivered from elsewhere and the morning mood started quite frustrating. The children were starting to fuss about the local food and kept wanting to just drink milk only. The hot weather didn't help to soothe the feeling so while we reached Sun Moon Lake as first stop, nobody was hyped enough. sun moon lake It was a pity because Sun Moon Lake was 4th in the world having the most beautiful cycling trail. I remembered a young colleague of mine, she went cycling around Sun Moon Lake while she was there. We departed Fengjia at 9am  9.20am. One good point about getting your own driver was that we could stretch our meeting time a little. Day 2 - Flying Cow Ranch Rise and Shine... except we were all awaken by the strong sunlight at 4am! Yes.. we didn't realise that the sun rise was so early and thus, we didn't drawn the curtain the night before. The children were up and about by 6am. We dilly-dallied for quite a while before we left our room for breakfast and farm activities. That's our accommodation at the back Crossing the bridge to the restaurant The size of the ranch breakfast buffet not our usual breakfast all vegetarian dishes Honestly speaking, I have never been to the ranch before and thus was rather taken aback at the size of the ranch, because we walked a good 10-15 minutes before we got to the dining area. Secondly, it took us a while to get used to chinese instructions everywhere. Thirdly, we didn't quite expect an all vegetarian chinese breakfast at the ranch. But we were good, the children behaved at the dining area, eating whatever we thought they might
