SSO Babies' Prom 2013

2 years ago, I learnt about this Babies Prom by our own Singapore Symphonic Orchestra. But with Jon only 3+ months, I thought he was too young to attend. Then Matthew came along last year which also made the trip quite impossible. So this year, we finally got a chance to attend and no regrets about it.

Free admission below 2 year so I bought 3 tickets for us.

Not sure what to expect and how the boys would react to the event, I chose aisle seats and nearest to the exit. Turned out that it was not a bad choice.

There was a little black booster cushion so Jon could sit comfortably and look across the stage without hindrance.

Unfortunately, the father fell sick hence this masked man with us.

There was pre-event activities which got the children excited and hyped all.

I also love how the conductor would introduce the orchestra, breaking up into their respective sections and it was all fun and interactive. It didn't even matter if you carried your child to the aisle and stood there. The conductor even got little children to go to the stage and conduct the orchestra.

When I asked Jon if he liked it and would he want to come again, it was a resounding YES!

Yup, sure! Let's go again next year!
