What's the big deal?

I have also been wanting to blog about this issue.

Ever wonder why "I " must also be in capital letter, even when it is not the first word of a sentence? Doesn't this emphasize the self- centered human nature where "I" always come first?

You may say that the capital letter "I" is to reflect self-respect just like how names are always spelled with capital letter for the 1st alphabet. But if that is the case, won't it be over doing? Why is "you" not having the same emphasis? Don't we want to show our respect equally to the one we are communicating to?

Food for thought. Ponder on it.
