Faux Pas

Not sure if you have read yesterday's Straits Times.

There was a report on national paddler, Li Jiawei on her upcoming nuptials. It was said that she is currently busy preparing her April 25 Beijing Wedding and will miss 2 major tournaments as a result. It went on with a short interview on her family planning and the news report continued from the main page to page A4.

In page A4, the news report continued with her family planning but that's not my main point.

In the same page, there was this big photo of her in one of her wedding gowns. Below the photo, there was this caption saying about her in this novel pants bottom wedding gown with a Greek theme. Photo source from Whitelink. I was scrutinizing her photo and then something caught me eyes.

In the photo, underneath her right shoe, someone forgot to peel off the price tag label. Oh gosh! Faux pas! What a big fashion mistake! Totally so unglamourous! I was even more surprised that the bridal company Whitelink did not even bother to photoshop for her.

To me, this is a mistake of the photographer, more than anybody else. How can you show the whole world a photo of the bride being caught in an embrassing moment. Furthermore, all bridal photos would go through some kind of editing. How can the photographer miss this detail. Kinda careless to me and from this photo, I would have lost confidence in this bridal shop.

Good luck Jiawei!
