to the zoo, to the zoo

Since we had to take 2 weeks leave to stay home and look after Jonathan ourselves, we went to the zoo last Thursday using my company's corporate card. Free entry for all of us. The weather was also good, cloudy throughout our trip there.

It was Jonathan's first ever trip to the zoo. He really looked lost and bewildered at everything.

Since morning was his longest nap time, we reached the zoo quite late at 2.30pm. We took the tram and headed straight to the Children's World.

Caught the Animal Friend's show at 4pm.

This was the only time he broke into a smile, truly enjoying himself with the songs and dances.

He was also fascinated with the bubbles machine.

And wasn't scare of making friends with the dogs.


It was a really short trip. We left for home after the show and Jonathan was already sleeping soundly in his pram.
