My Lil Prince Charming

We were supposed to go Church and we thought we would attempt to leave the boys at the Sunday School themselves. However, we ran late and we ended up having brunch at Bukit Timah Hawker Centre. Then we thought we would drive to the Bukit Timah Saddle Club to let the boys exhaust their energy so they would nap early and we could get things done. The maid is on her monthly off day, you see.

The boys were excited and the father signed them up for pony riding. It was a long wait and I was most surprised that the two actually waited quite patiently with us. There were almost 10 over children before us and we reckoned each ride was about 5 mins. So we waited and strolled along the BTSC premises. It was a good thing they brought out a 2nd horse, not a pony though.

Finally it's Jonathan's turn and he gamely agreed to ride on Heidi -the brown horse which was much bigger and taller than Rosie -the white pony.

He donned the helmet which was a little big and with the help of the hub, he mounted on Heidi. No cry, no panic. It was like a 2nd nature to him despite this was his very first attempt. He rode confidently without needing the dad to hold him.

As for the younger one… he didn't want to attempt and was contended by patting the horse.

It was a good morning and this would be one of the precious moments we would remember for life.
