The Silver Lining

It really had been a very bad 2-3 weeks for us.

Jonathan suffered another round of high fever on 2 Sundays ago. His temperature was so high at 39.5C that we rushed to NUH children emergency right away. He was given ibuprofen upon reaching.

What happened the next 5 days was really trying for us. His fever never left him and his temperature would spike above 38.5C at night. In fact we brought him back to Dr Yip, our usual PD on Monday and when Jon didn't get any better, we brought him back to the clinic again on Thursday.

His high fever was a result of bronchitis and eventually, we needed to have antibiotics.

his cheery smile is back

His fever finally broke after 2 doses of antibiotics and we took him off school for almost 2 weeks. During this period, his school teachers called to send their regards, friends prayed for us and valuable advice was offered by other parents-friends. Nothing beats seeing the cheerful smile of Jonathan.
