Wedding Staycation

Last weekend, we spent a very busy Saturday morning and suffered from what I called a wedding fatigue. Although the wedding couple was none other than my younger brother, both my mum and myself were exhausted for our own reasons.

It was a day where whatever could have gone wrong, went wrong and I shall not elaborate further here, as the event was over and most importantly, everyone still had a great time! I think that's most important for the wedding couple and their families. Whose wedding doesn't have a hiccup?

Because of the wedding, we had a mini staycation at their hotel venue. Ramada @ Zhong Shan Park was a no-frill business hotel. It's new and conveniently located. I thought it would make a great hotel stay for business travellers.

We roomed in for the whole night and the husband bought dinner from the mall next door. Next morning, we had our buffet breakfast and retreated to the swimming pool for a splash before calling it a day and headed home.

The swim made the children real tired and lunch at ZhongShan mall nearly lured them into a lullaby.

so tired

Next up would be our MBS staycation as a promised to Jonathan who wanted it as his birthday present. Spread over the long weekend, I hope we would have a ball of our time!
