He earned it!

Remember I shared about this saving plan of Jonathan in bid to get him off diaper at home? He did it! Yes.. he kept his word and strived hard to achieve all the stickers.

I couldn't be prouder for him and his achievement. He actually managed to get all stickers before end May but there was a delay in the toy car shipment and he had to wait for another 2 weeks before he could actually sit on his silver car.

This plan worked because I caught him in the right timing and he had an option. He made this decision himself and his desire for his own toy car motivated him greatly. He learnt to wait patiently and learnt to count (addition and subtraction from the required sum) and most of all, he learnt that if he sets his heart to it, nothing stands in his way.

Now that he is fully accustomed to wearing his undies during the day, I have been influencing him that he should aim for a "toilet bowl poop" and a "diaperless night" to graduate with top honours. With him proudly wearing his undies, his little brother is now undergoing toilet training phase 1. I hope this will be last stock up we need for the diapers.
