Birthday Celebration Part 2 - School Celebration
We went for a Tiger theme, not necessary to be Tigger the Tiger but any cute, smiling, happy Tiger will do. So we got Cloud9 (yes, again….) to bake this lovely smiling Tigger for Jon's school celebration.
Cloud9's bake |
We went around 3.30pm after the children's nap and when the children were ready, we got ushered into his class. There we found Jon waiting patiently for his birthday party!
Pondering on his cake? |
All children love a birthday party, whether it's theirs or not. We got a class of 10 toddlers, surrounding the birthday boy, singing the birthday song so heartily and cheering so happily at the end.

We didn't bring Matt along as firstly, it would be difficult to handle so many things at the same time, secondly, I am paranoid about what Matt is exposed to as you know, childcare is like a germ incubator.
On the same day, we had another boy in Jon's class celebration his birthday as well. It was really a case of the more the merrier!
the very happy boys |
We definitely had more than enough cake and the children were all so happy with their cake feast.
rainbow cake |
Blur me! Upon cutting the cake, I then realised that I actually ordered a rainbow cake. Haha… we were actually wondering why was his birthday cake so tall! But it was an awesome rainbow cake. I love its colour, such a pretty cake! And it was not without taste, as the layers were held together with a tinge of cheese flavour cream.
Scream + Jump |
The other boy's parents got the children each a pet walker which of course, made the whole class so thrilled. To be honest, doing one child's birthday party was tiring for both the parents and teachers. What's more when there was a combo!
It took a while to get the children to settle down so we could give out the goodies bags and took the polaroid shot and wrote the "Thank You" note behind. All these were not captured as no one was free, both teachers needed to handle the kids, the other parents were busy helping while hubby helped Jon to give out the goodies bag. Yours truly was busy with the polaroid shots!
taking a break |
It was near 5pm when we were finally done with the party. By then, Jon was eager to leave.
with 薛老师 |
It was a pity that Jon's English teacher, Ms Indrani was on MC. Each time after a class celebration, I always feel cc teachers are so amazing. They could handle more than 10 toddlers at one time while I fumble with my 2 boys at home!
new pet - buddy |
It was a total awesome party and the children really enjoyed the celebration! Jon went home very happy that day with his new pet - Buddy. =D
