So we woke up early to have our quick breakfast because our coach ride to Disneyland was at 9.10am. We were not early birds so it was a huge effort to get ourselves up (4 of us), to settle our breakfast at hotel and to get to Shinjuku Bus Terminal. We had originally planned to get a cab to bring us to the bus terminal, however it was raining so heavily that the hotel staff advised us it would be difficult to get a cab. Hence, it started our mad rush to run to the bus terminal in the rain.
Not joking, we literally ran from our hotel to the bus terminal in the heavy downpour. The boys really done well for this trip, no complaint and they ran alongside with us. We finally reached the bus terminal 5 mins ahead of time. Relief!

The bus wasn't crowded and soon we were on our way. It was a 50min bus ride and when we reached Disney ground. The adventure began with us being very lost. So I went to ask the staff for the direction to the Welcome Centre to get our Vacation Package. We were directed to take their Disney Monorail and guess what... we met Jon's classmate in the monorail. It brightened up our day a little, having met someone we know.
We finally got to the Welcome Centre after getting lost for another 15 minutes. After checking in, we got our theme park tickets, our luggage would be dropped at the Ambassador Hotel conveniently and we were ready to step into DisneySea.

It was already 12.30pm when we stepped in and we just went to the first cafe we saw for our lunch. Again, the boys were really cooperative. The queue was long but they didn't fuss.

We didn't exactly know what's going on, but we just walked and joined in the queue whenever we saw one. I guess it was because we didn't quite know what to expect, so everything was a surprise for us. Including queuing in the rain for an hour just to get a photoshoot with Ariel the mermaid. Memorable!

We didn't get to play many rides because it was raining the whole day and the younger boy was so tired that he just fell asleep. I took Jon with me to play most of the rides. The sky turned dark rather quickly for this season, so we left the theme park around 6+pm to get back to our hotel.
We were really glad that our room was ready and it was a big room! 4 single beds for 4 of us.

After settling down a little, we ventured out for our dinner. There was a foodcourt nearby which we had our dinner. So coincidental, we met the same friend of Jon over there.
We had an early night because the next day, we were going Disneyland.
Breakfast was at Restaurant Hana and finally we got to eat in our own time, no need to hurry or rush to anywhere. Hana served traditional Japanese breakfast which was quite interesting.

This whole Disney experience was really memorable. When we entered the park, we were so lucky to have a spot to watch the Parade. Then we went up to Cinderella Castle for the glass slipper and went for more rides. I had also a try at their snack. Then it was more rides before we went to catch our show.

By then, Matt knocked out again. So I had him lie down on a bench while the father and Jon went for more rides. It was a good day, no rain but cloudy and windy. We enjoyed the weather so much and I think it helped heaps and the boys were so cooperative.
We stayed in the Disneyland long enough to catch the fireworks and also the light show of Cinderella story. It was so magical!

On our last day at Disney kingdom, we ate breakfast with Chef Mickey. Another highlight of our trip. Since we bought the package, we were allowed to return to the parks with unlimited entries within the 3 days, so we chose to return to DisneySea and enjoyed more rides (still raining) before we returned to Shinjuku.
The boys slept in the bus back and with our luggages, we ventured into the heart of Shinjuku (so daring of us!) and had our dinner there. It was splendid although it was not too convenient with our luggages.
Again we returned to our base hotel, Granbell Shinjuku and this round, we had a room at Level 16. This room was slightly smaller than before but it was considered big in Japan.

From this room, we spotted Tokyo Tower afar and it was another sweet night for the boys and another round of laundry game for me. Hakone was next on the list, the next morning to be exact!
