Based on our June family trip experience, to manage the boys better on the flight, we booked an afternoon flight to and fro for our year end vacation to Phuket. We purposely brought the boys earlier to the airport, to settle their lunch and let them exhaust their energy. It turned out to be a great plan! Both fell asleep just about to take off, giving us a very peaceful flight to Phuket.

And because we were traveling by ourselves, we took our time to disembark, did the routine care for the boys before we collected our luggages. When we stepped out of the airport, our hotel agent was waiting for us with our hotel transfer.
The car ride to Westin Siray Bay Resort & Spa was long, around an hour but comfortable. Westin spelt of luxury. Our hotel transfer with Toyota Camry cost us THB 1,300 each way (estimated SGD 52). There was refreshment towels and chilled bottled drinks for us too. On the way to Westin, it started to rain.

Many staff came forth to help us with our luggages (2 large luggages + a mini luggage (for Jon)). Then we waited for the check-in procedure to be completed while sipping our welcome drinks (crushed tropical fruit juice) and refreshened ourselves with the cold towels.

The rain did not dampened our mood and we were happy that we were offered buggy rides within the resort.

We were extremely happy with our room choice - Deluxe room with King size bed at non-smoking level. I totally loved the spacious room with plenty of room for the boys to run around.

The toiletries was packed nicely in a little corner of the spacious bathroom. The hand soap was not spared from detail, crafted into the shape of a leaf, promoting a sense of zen.

Having the bath tub and separate shower area meant that we could shower the boys separately but simultaneously. It helped as it sped things up.

Westin even put detail into TV controller. We found the TV controller sitting nicely in a leather bind box.

We were completely wowed. It would be a luxurious holiday to enjoy….
