the TRUTH is OUT!!!!

Many people has been waiting for this until their necks become so long. There's no more reason why I shouldn't "announce" the renovator that did our house. If you have been reading my blog, you would understand our frustration when we were renovating our house.

After 3 months of moving into our new house, we still have problems, unresolved.

1st up - our slow track closing aka soft closing. When we were doing our cabinets, all cabinets including kitchen and wardrobe and shoe cabinet, we have specifically requested all doors and drawers to be equipped with such gadgets. We were quite prepared to fork out abit more and so we were surprised that the company was willing to throw in all these without raising the quotation and used BLUM on our cabinets.

The issue is not all kitchen cabinet doors worked fine. We called back the project manager and asked to resolve this issue. Guess what his reply : "This one hor, is heng suai one (depends on luck). Depends on the landing. I cannot do anything."

Wow! Got such thing - Heng Suai! I didn't know that installing BLUM motion needs to depend on luck. Obvious, someone is not doing his job. And who can verify that project manager used a authentic BLUM.

Next up - poor workmanship. Judge for yourself.

We couldn't understand why the Mother-in-law's place was so nicely done up by them, yet ours was so lousy. The company claimed it was the same tiler.

But how to stomach in a slope in the living hall and such big gap?

The gap is big and traps dust easily.

A friend told us it was the quality of the tiles that caused such problem. But if it was the quality, then shouldn't the project manager be aware of such problem and not bring us to the factory to select such tiles?

What about a mess of wire shoved underneath the kitchen cabinet?

Beats me why the electrician cannot tidy up this mess of wires.

But sometimes, when we were on the Heng side, we could get fantastic stuff.

For example, the glass door that separates kitchen from living area. It was done up so well.

And the initiative to use a slab of tile to line the master bedroom toilet to avoid direct contact with our laminated flooring.

Lastly, Heng ah! we outsourced the laminated flooring to Evorich instead of leaving it to 3D Innovations Enterprise Pte Ltd.

Yes... the TRUTH is out.
