Thursday (29 Oct 2009) marked the official date of us taking over the ownership of our humble house. the bunch of keys given to us 1st time house owner... 1st property we purchased together ... The recent customer satisfaction survey 2009 showed a dip. And I could understand why. On Thursday, I got a chance to visit Vivocity and went to a fast food joint which was known for their expensive burgers. I patronized the shop less than 5 times and I could only remember that their portobello mushroom burger was good. So I decided to have a burger and a hot tea before I headed home. However, it proved to be a mistake that ruined my dinner entirely. The story went like this... Me : I like to have a portobello mushroom burger without onions. Counter Staff (CS); male in his late 20s : Do you want to upgrade to a meal? Me : Nope and I like to have a hot tea. Suddenly CS gestured to me by tilting his head sideways. I was totally clueless to what he was trying to express. After 2 attempts, CS gave up and used his finger to point to the A4 poster board placed at the counter and said loudly : "you should give me one of this" Huh? excuz moi? What? Gave what? Thanks to the wonderful girls who gave me a such a memorable and beautiful night! We were having too much fun to remember to snap some pictures. But here some on what happened on that Chic Chicks' Nite : ) 1. Surprised makeover - SaSa (Bugis) Haha... they wanted to spook me up abit and warned me to be very scared. But halfway walking there, suddenly I blurted out "Don't tell me you gals are bringing me to SaSa" What followed needed no more to say. Thanks gals for the surprise! And it was a pleasant surprise with me transferring to this Rock Chick! Haha... *yup... this is me though it doesn't really look like me* *confused? Hmm... con't to stay confuse... haha* 2. Made a pit stop at Mac Donald before heading to a nite of rock n rolls. photo source from Yagiza 3. But that's not the end. Many new things to collect. Many new updates to make. Many new happenings. Finally, our wedding rings from Fairy's Inc are ready. That's about 3 months from the time we confirmed what we want. I hope I made the right choice in picking a full eternity ring as my wedding band. And finally, we can collect the keys for our new home! I still remember all the big and bright ideas I have for the celebration of love. Like what I have predicted, a lack of money, time and manpower force me to give up on my ideas. Smashed Idea #1 Wanted to put chocolates in this type of acrylic boxes and stick on a wedding sticker as wedding favour. With less than 1 month to go, no energy to source and put everything together. On my last and final try, decided to let it go. No doubt the cupcake is good but the cake is difficult to detach from its cup. The chocolate crust is really hard to sink in and eating in a delicate manner requires much effort and skill. Don't think anyone will attempt to eat the cupcakes with all these mess.

Haha... Yup... his next birthday is probably another 6 more months away but I have already thought of a theme and conceptualise on how we should celebrate his birthday. Every year, there's a theme. 1st year - Sky Adventure 2nd year - Spaceship 3rd year - Old England next year - "Go West" Place for that "Go West" - secret. Will be revealed in due time. I love birthdays!!!
