After 4 year 2 month, considering the time I was first pregnant with Jonathan, I have finally shrunk back to my original clothing size. There is still room for reducing especially with the weighing scale. Somehow, the digitals just won't reduced any further and I need to do more work with my lower tummy and hips. Still, it is quite a good feeling that I'm wearing back what I started out with.

Preschool Journey starts from here….

14 January 2015 Finally Matthew gets to go school. There was some hiccups at the start due to his bad throat infection, so we missed the official orientation. I didn't get to join Matthew at his classroom and for the 1st day, I was only allowed to drop him off at the assembly ground. PE attire for the 1st day School was a breeze for Matt for the first week, as school was only 1.5hrs. School Ends The 2nd week of school started with the full 3 hours and by now, Matt realised it is a routine. He would start to have resistance of changing to uniform, then cried at drop off but stop crying once led to assembly ground. Very happy when school is over. Everyday was so fun with little gifts But I guess school is still fun to him!

A New Change

Coming into our 5th year of staying at current place, we realised that things/ furnitures started to give way. It started with our new washing machine. Okay, that was an upgrade from a 8kg load to 10kg and barely into one year, our Panasonic front loader needed a repair. Thankfully it was easy to rectify and laundry service resumed quickly. Then it was our Sofa. The Lorenzo sofa that we got at a good deal, served us well. I mean, it had endured the numerous jumps, accidental peeing and got stained with poo and vomit from the boys. It literally had our sweat and blood in it. Earlier this year, we retired our good old mate. another good buy? We decided against buying a high quality sofa simply because the boys would bound to have accidents on it. So something affordable and an estimated life span of 5 years is good enough for us. We went to Ikea and spotted this 3 seater sofa on sale. Bought it and got it delivered for us. Self assembled by the husband and viola! n...

Unbreakable Cycle?

The children caught some nasty virus in the last 2 weeks of December. It started with Jonathan, coughing his lungs out and he recovered enough to go back school for 2 days before he came down with high fever again. He was bloated and vomit easily. Then it was spread to Darren and finally Matthew. If you have followed me, you would know why we would go into a panicky mode when Matt was down with fever. His fever just won't go away and Jonathan didn't get any better. So we went back to PD and he decided more investigation was needed. So the 2 boys had x-rays and blood tests done. the test slips Then they would put on antibiotics treatment for Mycoplasma infection. Thankfully, both boys recovered enough for us to hold a mini X'mas celebration at home. Then barely after 2 weeks, Jonathan came back from school with fever and he went into bronchitis again! It spread to Matthew, again! Now that Jonathan has recovered to go back school, Matthew is still battling wit...

God has a way!

4 January 2014 My FB feeds were all about little kids going to school as P1 or attending their 1st day at Preschool. For my Jonathan, it should be easy peasy for him except that he is still wailing. At this rate he is going, I'm sure he will be the record holder for the boy who cried throughout his preschool years. We have thought of the possibilities that made him cried. Maybe he thought Matt is staying home and playing all his toys or maybe he was bullied in school or maybe he wasn't engaged enough in school… maybe maybe maybe… too many maybes. Then a particular thing happened today at his Sunday School. He was given these 2 little books. Tell God about it! The first little book was about a little girl that doesn't like to go to school. Wow! It hit the spot! And the most surprising coincidence was the second book on "Bad Temper". Double hit!! We read the books in the Church once and we read the books again just before bedtime. We read the bo...
